1999 Cast

A giant spaceship arrives and requests permission to land near Moonbase Alpha; as Commander Koenig is away on a mission, Verdeschi allows the craft to set down. Its captain is Sahala, a beautiful woman from the planet Norvah in the Croton Galaxy; she tells them that she has a dangerous criminal on board who has seriously injured her crew member Yesta. After Verdeschi agrees to provide them with medical attention, Sahala sees Maya she shoots her with a gun. She explains that a spaceship from Psychon landed on Norvah containing refugees from the dying world; however, their leader, the philosopher Dorzak used his mind power to incite the peaceful Norvahn people to violence, and so Sahala is now transporting him into exile. Maya refuses to believe her story as she knows Dorzak to be a man of peace, and visits Dorzak in his cell aboard the ship. But the insane Dorzak seizes the opportunity to incapacitate Maya and transform himself into her likeness, leaving him free to take over Alpha with his mind-controlling powers…
