1999 Cast

A mysterious ball of blue light approaches Moonbase Alpha, which renders the crew motionless and then invades the body of technician Anton Zoref. Everyone then returns to normal and Zoref recovers from an apparent collapse, but he soon finds that his body now has an overwhelming desire for heat, which he consumes from any source - even humans. Zoref begins a deadly rampage through the base, leaving a trail of frozen bodies and useless equipment behind him; attempts to stop him have no effect, as his body even absorbs the heat from weapons fired at him. In a desperate attempt to deprive Zoref of his source of light and heat, Commander Koenig orders all power supplies to be cut off - but Zoref is now heading straight for the nuclear reactor...
