1999 Cast

A geological survey below the lunar surface reveals the existence of a stasis chamber containing two alien humanoids, a man and a boy, apparently frozen for many centuries. After the two aliens are taken back to Moonbase Alpha’s Medical Centre and revived, the elder introduces himself as Pasc, and the boy as his son Etrec. Pasc explains that they are emissaries from Archanon, the planet of peace; he was in command of a mission to Earth, but his team were affected by a ‘contagion of evil’ while visiting the planet; led by his wife Lyra, they rebelled and imprisoned him and Etrec in the stasis chamber. While Alan Carter befriends Etrec, Doctor Russell discovers a virus in Pasc and Etrec's blood cells; the Alphans soon discover that the virus is actually a genetic sickness passed down through generations of Archanon males - and it instils them with an overwhelming urge to kill everything and everyone...
