Steve Austin and Jaime Sommers

As her wedding to Steve Austin rapidly approaches, Jaime Sommers’ bionic systems suddenly begin malfunctioning, and it is feared that she may be dying. Distraught at her situation, Jaime emotionally pushes Steve away from her. Oscar Goldman elicits the aid of Doctor Rudy Wells, who discovers that someone has managed to replace one of the microchips in Jaime’s bionic arm with one infected with a virus. Unknown to them, the saboteur is O.S.I. operative Kimberly Harmon, the daughter of Rudy's former assistant, Doctor Jason Havilland. Meanwhile, tennis pro Astaad Rashid plans to defect to the United States; however, Rashid’s uncle has sent terrorist Miles Kendrick to bring back his nephew so that he can be punished for his treachery; Kendrick threatens to detonate a nuclear warhead at the U.S. Embassy in Nassau, in the Bahamas, unless Rashid is handed over. To take his mind off of Jaime, Steve volunteers to help stop Kendrick; Oscar unwillingly agrees, and soon Steve leaves on his assignment– assisted by Kimberly Harmon. During the mission Kimberly implants a virus-infected chip inside Steve’s bionics, causing his cybernetic systems to start to break down. Back at O.S.I. headquarters, Jaime is restored back to health after Rudy cures the virus; after Jaime realises that Kimberly must have been responsible for the sabotage, she immediately heads off to Nassau to find Steve – but will she be in time to save him, or is their wedding doomed to never take place?
