Adam Adamant

In 1902 gentleman adventurer Adam Adamant is betrayed by the beautiful Louise, and he falls into the clutches of his arch-enemy, the Face, who condemns him to a living death by freezing him in a block of ice. Then, in 1966, workmen excavating a building site uncover Adam’s preserved body, and he is taken to hospital. Confused and terrified by the sights and sounds of Sixties London Adam is found by a girl named Georgina Jones. She is amazed to meet her legendary idol face to face, and so takes him to her flat to recover. However, when Georgina later witnesses a murder in the nightclub where she works, she soon encounters ruthless racketeer Margo Kane. It is up to Adam to stop the villainess - but can he compromise his maxim of never hurting a lady…?
