Avengers Cast

The directors of ‘Project Cupid’, a ministry scheme to create an emergency underground facility for the British government in case of war, are being systematically killed. The only clue is a clown’s nose left at the scene of one of the deaths, and so Steed and Tara follow the trail to a library of registered clown-faces, whose ‘records’ are painted on eggs. Tara is captured by the murderers, two killer clowns, and taken to a rest home for out of work vaudeville acts, where she discovers that a man running a ‘Punch and Judy’ puppet stand is instructing the acts to carry out the murders in order to stop ‘Project Cupid’ from levelling some old music halls. Steed arrives at the home in the guise of ‘Gentleman Johnny’, but will he be in time to prevent Tara from being burned in half by a failed vaudeville magician wielding a blowtorch..?
