|'They Keep Killing Steed'
by Brian Clemens
Steed is kidnapped by an enemy scientist named Arcos, as part of a diabolical plan to use Steed’s face to make a perfect mould for use with a quick-face-changing technique, in order to enable a double of Steed to infiltrate a top-security peace conference. But Steed knocks-out his guard, and switches both the moulds and the documentation that goes with them, with the result that five enemy agents get sent assignments to become Steed. After Tara, assisted by the suave and handsome Baron Von Curt, discovers that one of the men has died during the face-changing process, she follows the trail to the conference. As Steed after Steed arrives, Tara and Curt must stop the duplicates from disrupting the talks - but is the real Steed among them..?
