Blake's 7 Cast

Avon has deliberately allowed himself to be captured and imprisoned on Earth so that he can reach Shrinker, the Federation torturer who killed his lover, Anna Grant. When the man finally arrives, Avon uses a hidden device to arrange for them both to be teleported to an underground cavern. He interrogates Shrinker, who admits that an agent code-named Bartolomew was actually responsible for Anna’s death. Leaving Shrinker to die in the sealed cavern, Avon returns to Liberator. Meanwhile, at Servalan’s presidential residence, Councillor Chesku is murdered by his wife Sula - who is actually Anna, seemingly alive and well. Sula and her followers then stage an attack on the stronghold and capture Servalan. Avon, intent on discovering the identity of Bartolomew, teleports down from Liberator along with Tarrant, Cally and Dayna, and finds a badly beaten Servalan chained to a wall in the basement. Avon offers to set her free if she reveals the identity of Bartolomew, but before she can tell him, Sula appears. Avon realises that the only way she could have survived is if she herself were Bartolomew. Convinced that Avon is about to kill her, Sula pulls a gun on him; he shoots her in self-defence, and she dies in his arms. Avon is distraught, but he is true to his word and releases Servalan. When she then prepares to shoot him, Avon makes to attempt to stop her, but then he and the others are teleported to Liberator just in time.
