Batman Cast

Holy Rigged Races! Having disguised the old nag they bought from Glu Gluten's Glue Factory as prize-winning racehorse Parasol, the Penguin and Lola plan to enter the real Parasol in the Bruce Wayne Handicap Race under the name of Bumbershoot, enabling the two schemers to make a killing at the bookies. To obtain $10,000 for the bet, the felonious fowl returns Gotham Library to pilfer the priceless parasol portfolio, but he unwittingly activates an Emergency Library Prowler Alarm; Barbara Gordon responds to the alert by contacting her father, Commissioner Gordon, who in turn notifies Batman and Robin. The Dynamic Duo burst into the library and catch the feathery felon in the act, but the villain uses his umbrella to gas everyone and then makes his escape. The Caped Crusader sets a trap for the skint schemer by placing a fake advert in a collectors’ newspaper, asking for a valuable book on parasols. When the Penguin sees it he immediately contacts the advertiser, a Mr. A.L. Fredd, and offers to sell the portfolio for a large sum. But when the wicked waddler learns that Batman has since returned the stolen book, he promptly blames Barbara Gordon, and sends her a deadly gas-filled toy penguin…
