Holy Catnaps! Policewoman Mooney, working undercover as a member of Catwoman's gang, warns Commissioner Gordon that the felonious feline is planning to join forces with a European criminal known as the Sandman to committing a heinous crime. But when Mooney disappears, a worried Gordon calls in Batman and Robin for help. Elsewhere, a disguised Catwoman pretends to fall asleep on a mattress displayed in a store window, and is then taken away by one of Sandman's henchmen. Next, she appears on television and mentions a sleep expert named Doctor Somnambula; the broadcast catches the attention of rich insomniac J. Pauline Spaghetti, who summons Somnambula - a.k.a. the Sandman - to her penthouse. However, the sinister sleep-inducer gasses Spaghetti into unconsciousness and then begins taking photographs of her financial ledger…
