'33' Story Code: '101' by Ronald D. Moore

For the last two days, the Galactica and its fleet of civilian spaceships have been forced to make a seemingly endless series of Faster Than Light jumps in order to evade the Cylon forces, who have been regularly attacking them every thirty-three minutes. As the exhausted crew prepares for the next jump, nerves fray and tempers flare; Apollo, Starbuck and the rest of the Viper pilots protecting the fleet are ordered by Commander Adama to take stimulant pills to keep them alert, and President Roslin is all too aware that there are now fewer than fifty-thousand human beings left alive in the fleet. Rumours that the Cylon robots are able to disguise themselves as human beings are rife amongst the crew, and Colonel Tigh suggests that somewhere in their fleet, sleeper agents are transmitting their destination coordinates to the Cylons. Doctor Baltar finds himself slipping more and more into his dreamworld, in which Number 6 taunts his beliefs and his sanity. Meanwhile, on the Cylon-occupied world of Caprica, the stranded Helo struggles to evade capture, but soon finds himself a prisoner of the deadly robots. Back at the fleet, the Galactica is about to jump once more when it is discovered that the Olympic, a civilian ship with over three-hundred passengers aboard, remains unaccounted for. When the Olympic suddenly reappears, its crew can give no explanation for their escape from the Cylons – which immediately arouses Adama’s suspicions…
