Buffy

When Buffy confronts Faith about the murder, Faith tells her that she does not care and has dumped the body. Later, Buffy wakes from a nightmare about Finch and Faith, only to learn that Finch’s body has been found. At school the next morning, Wesley orders Buffy and Faith to investigate the murder, and when Cordelia interrupts them, Wesley becomes quite taken with her. After another argument with Faith, Buffy seeks comfort from Willow, but her friend seems uneasy around her. That evening, as Angel watches the detectives at the crime scene he recalls that Buffy had blood on her hands the previous night. At City Hall, the Mayor is ecstatic to learn from Mr. Trick that the coroner’s report shows that Finch was killed with a pointed wooden object, implicating the Slayer. Later, Buffy and Faith break into City Hall to investigate Finch’s office and discover why he was in the alley, but all of his files are empty; as the two girls leave they see Mr. Trick and the Mayor together. After the men leave the girls argue over how Faith is dealing with the murder, with Faith commenting that as Slayers they are above the law. Buffy returns home to find a detective waiting for her, while Faith discovers another in her motel room. Buffy goes to Willow for solace, but Willow berates her for her recent attitude, and so Buffy tearfully confesses to her friend of everything that has happened. Heading for the library to inform Giles, Buffy finds him with Faith, who has blamed Buffy for killing Finch; after the girl leaves, Giles assures Buffy that he did not believe Faith’s story. However, Wesley has been eavesdropping, and he contacts Quentin Travers at the Watchers Council to report Faith. The next day, Buffy, Xander and Willow are discussing how to deal with Faith when Xander inadvertently tells them that he has slept with her; Willow is hurt and runs off. Xander visits Faith at her motel room to try and reason with her, but she starts to strangle him; just in time Angel bursts in and knocks her out with a baseball bat. Angel chains the Slayer to the wall of his mansion and attempts to reason with her, but Wesley and some thugs arrive; they subdue Angel using a cross and net, and then make preparations to take Faith to England to face a disciplinary committee. They leave in a van, but while en route Faith overpowers Wesley and escapes. Buffy frees Angel and they join the rest of the gang at the library; as they formulate a plan to stop Wesley he walks in and informs them of Faith’s escape. Angel and Buffy split up and go in search of Faith; Buffy finds her at the docks, and when Faith remarks she does not want to be like Buffy, even though she is more like Faith that she realises, Buffy promptly hits her. Pushes Faith out of the way of a falling crate, Buffy becomes trapped underneath it; Mr Trick and his vampires arrive and attack Faith, buying Buffy time to free herself. After a battle, Trick is about to bite Buffy when he is staked by Faith. Later, Giles and Buffy discuss Faith’s future, thinking that they can still help her, even though she has a lot to face. But at City Hall, the Mayor is joined by Faith, who notes that with Trick dead, there is now a job opening for her…
