*The only gaps between the First Doctor stories take place between 'The Massacre' and 'The Ark', and 'The Gunfighters' and 'The Savages'. Seeing as Dodo is more used to space and time travel than she was in 'The Ark', and tells stories to Lesia which cause Lesia to believe Dodo is used to danger, it seems that this story occurs in the latter gap
