Richard and Sharron are concerned when Craig fails to return from a mission in Hong Kong, but when they bring their worries to Tremayne's attention, he seems unconcerned. Elsewhere, Craig wakes up from a nightmare concerning the events of his crash in the Tibetan mountains, and finds himself imprisoned inside a sealed room, assailed by coloured lights and strange noises, and subjected to extreme temperature variations - and then subjected to ruthless questioning by a cruel interrogator...
