The Doctor and Rose

Having set the TARDIS on course for the planet Barcelona, the newly regenerated Doctor checks out his tenth body’s physiognomy. However, Rose is still uncertain that the man before her is who he says he is, suspecting either a body swap or that he is a Slitheen in disguise. By recalling the events of their first encounter, the Doctor is able to convince his companion that he really is who he claims; seeing that Rose is still uncomfortable with his change, he then offers her the chance to leave, and directs the TARDIS to land at her home on the Powell Estate, in London on the 24th December. Without warning the Doctor is suddenly racked with pain, which causes the TARDIS to jolt erratically – the regeneration has gone wrong. His mind in a whirl, the Doctor increases the speed of the TARDIS – sending the ship hurtling out of control towards Christmas Eve…
