NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR HUMAN INTERACTION

When Fry and Bender take the delivery spaceship on a joyride, they trash the ‘Planet Express’ building and are promptly fired by Professor Farnsworth. Having lost her job too, Leela returns to her old position at the Cryogenics Lab, but inadvertently swaps her career chip with Fry's and gets assigned the role of pizza delivery girl instead. In turn, Fry and Bender become cryogenics counsellors, and soon discover that Fry’s former girlfriend, Michelle, is also in deep freeze. Having thawed out his old flame, Fry gets back together with Michelle, but the girl is unable to cope with life in the year 3000, and persuades Fry into returning to cryogenic stasis. One thousand years later, they wake up and find themselves in a post-apocalyptic society run by a gang of gun-toting children…
