When the Planet Express crew are charged with transporting the carbonite-imprisoned criminal mastermind Doctor Brutaloff to Ill-Worth Prison, Bender meets robot folk singer Silicon Red. Bender immediately decides to rip off the robot’s act: he takes a scan of Silicon Red’s special guitar and then gets an exact copy made on an experimental 3D-printer. However, when Bender gives his first performance as ‘Ramblin’ Rodriguez’ he is booed off stage, which Silicon Red attributes to his song being insincere. Bender becomes despondent, until Doctor Zoidberg gives him the idea to live amongst the railroad folk to experience something worth singing about. Meanwhile, the 3-D printer is still connected to Bender – it goes out of control and literally creates trouble…
