ONE OF THE 7 WONDERS OF THE FUTURE WORLD

On Omicron Persei 8, world leader Lrrr begrudgingly helps his son Jrrr with his Scout Badge achievements – specifically the one for ‘Planetary Invasion’, which Lrrr plans to achieve by getting his son to invade Earth. The plan is successful, and Jrrr obtains an agreement of surrender from the head of President Nixon. However, once the aliens have returned home the furious President Nixon declares a planetary embargo on all of Earth’s exports, including television - Lrrr’s favourite pastime. Meanwhile, at Planet Express, Professor Farnsworth is in extreme pain because his supply of ‘Good News’ herbal supplement has run out. When Hermes gets a sniff of the ‘medicinal herb’ he immediately gets the gang to take him to the plant’s planet of origin: Omicron Persei 8. Wangling their way past the orbiting embargo blockade, the gang make planetfall and begin picking herbs; however, they are soon detected by the locals, and forced to flee back to Earth in their ship – inadvertently leaving Fry behind. Evading the authorities, Fry hides out in a garden shed, where he is soon found by Jrrr. The young alien smuggles his new friend, ‘T’, into his house, and soon a close bond is forged between them…
