When Leela falls for Chaz, the Mayor's aide, Fry feels depressed and worthless. When he then takes Nibbler for a walk, he is surprised to hear the tiny alien speak – and even more surprised when Nibbler takes him back to his home planet in his flying saucer. Here Fry learns of his importance in the great scheme of things; it seems that the Niblonians deliberately brought him into the future so that he – and he alone – could carry out a mission to save the universe…
