The Ghosts of Motley Hall Cast

When Sir George convenes his fellow ghosts to discuss what to do about the imminent sale of Motley Hall, they are interrupted by the arrival of the estate agent, Mr. Gudgin, and his latest client, Mr. Wallis. The ghosts listen on in outrage as Wallis announces that his clients, the British Banana Company, want to gut the Hall and completely renovate and modernise it to suit their needs. Wallis then finds an old sword hilt hidden inside a secret panel in the wall, and he persuades Gudgin to let him keep it. However, this discovery sends Bodkin into a panic – the sword hilt belongs to Bad Lord William, Motley’s most tyrannical owner, whose enjoyment of torturing his victims led to his own staff poisoning him; keeping the sword hilt hidden ensures that William never returns, but now the object has been removed, the evil lord will be released. As the ghosts look on, William materialises in the hall and vows to torture them all – after he has killed Gudgin and Wallis…
