The Ghosts of Motley Hall Cast

When Matt finds a wedding ring down by the lake, it sends the White Lady into a terrible depression; reminded that she has no idea of who she is and what her past is, the miserable White Lady announces to her fellow – all male – ghosts that she is tired of being treated just like one of them, and wants to be recognised as a woman. While Sir George, Fanny and Bodkin struggle to comprehend such a tricky situation Matt ventures out into the garden, where he sees what appears to be the White Lady. Puzzled as to how his friend has managed to leave the confines of Motley Hall, Matt returns to the house to tell the others, only to learn that the White Lady has been sulking in the bell tower for the last few hours. Confused, Matt returns to the garden, and inadvertently drops the ring down a well – an act that wakes up the ghost of Godfrey of Basingstoke, a pompous, self-obsessed knight who met his death in the depths over seven hundred years ago. Matt takes Sir Godfrey to meet the others, but when the knight sees the White Lady, he declares her to be Matilda – his long-lost wife…
