Tim hosts ‘Pro-Celebrity Sports Night’ in preparation for the Olympics, but after covering all his expenses he is only able to donate 3p to the British Olympic Committee. With the country’s athletes poor, puny and starving, Tim tries to get more cash, only to learn that Bill - as ‘Hurricane Oddie’ - is hustling everyone out of their money at Graeme’s new casino. After losing all his money and clothes too, Tim becomes the notorious ‘Masked Shotputter’, and leads his fellow athletes on a crime spree; however, after stealing the Crown Jewels, he is finally captured by Bill, and taken to prison to answer for his crimes. Once all the other athletes have been rounded up as well, Graeme sets himself up as sports dealer ‘Keri Thwacker’, making a fortune by importing athletes from other countries and getting them married into British citizenship. When the rest of the world refuses to host the Olympic Games for being too expensive, Graeme sees a way of cashing in, and offers to host the event it himself. Outraged at his friend’s latest money-grabbing scheme, Tim breaks himself out of prison, sneaks into Graeme’s office and then alters the Olympic programme of events. The next day, Graeme and Bill find Tim hiding in the British team’s stables, and when they hear of his act of sabotage, they realise that the British team’s chances of winning have been ruined; and when Tim then unveils his own team - made up of actors, writers and artists - all the other countries pull out. Faced with losing their life savings, Graeme and Bill are forced to form their own ‘Rest of the World’ team to compete against Tim…
