Tim and Bill watch ‘The Mysterious World of Arthur C. Clarke’ on television, in which Arthur fails to see any of the aliens, Yeti, the Loch Ness Monster and other strangeness going on around him. When the show gets cancelled because it is discovered that Arthur himself doesn’t exist, Tim resolves to prove that he does – oblivious to the fact that Arthur is in fact Graeme in disguise. Tim and Bill set off on an expedition to the Arthur C. Clarke Mystery Park in the Canadian Rockies (with Graeme forced to go too), where they see lots of creatures, but obviously no Arthur. Tim and Bill finally twig when they see footage of Graeme dressed as Bigfoot and throwing Flying Saucer Frisbees in the air; Tim is outraged and vows to report Graeme as a charlatan, but then gets distracted when he sees a trail of giant footprints circling around their log cabin. The Goodies are convinced that they are on the trail of the mythical Bigfoot – until they discover that the culprit is Tim, sleep-walking with a badly-swollen foot caused by wearing tight boots. The shame of this revelation is too much for Tim, and he runs away to live in the mountains in solitary disgrace…
