The Goodies

Enjoying an evening’s entertainment of ‘Come Dancing Club’, Tim is appalled when all the ballroom dancers suddenly collapse, and the judges demand a dope test. The Goodies then receive a call for help from Penelope Fay, whose award-winning ballroom dancing team have been got-at by her competitor, Delia Capone, who wants to ensure that her own syndicate wins the championship. Tim, Bill and Graeme agree to become the new ‘Penelope Fay Formation Dancing Team’, and with the aid of Graeme’s radio-controlled dancing suits they set off to the finals in Maidenhead with their three attractive-but-stupid dancing partners. The Goodies soon receive a visit from Delia Capone and her gun-toting, tutu-wearing thugs, who try to ‘persuade’ them of the folly of competing in the contest; but Tim, Bill and Graeme ignore their rivals’ strong-arm tactics, and the battle on the ballroom floor goes ahead. Things go well until Graeme lets slip to Delia about his special suits, enabling the woman to steal the control device and send the Goodies whirling off the dance floor and into the streets outside. Luckily for Tim, Bill and Graeme, the judges are impressed, and rule the contest a draw. Delia Capone is furious – after exposing Penelope’s real identity as ballroom shark Peaches Stilletto, she challenges the Goodies to a deadly dance-off at dawn…
