'Hype Pressure' by Graeme Garden and Bill Oddie |
On hearing Bill and Graeme singing folk songs, Tim invites them to appear on his television talent show, ‘New Faeces’, so that he can humiliate them’; unfortunately for Tim, ‘The Two Folk’ prove such a hit with the judges that he gets sacked. Finally coming out of shock, Tim decides to create a new gimmick by instigating a 1950’s revival of Rock and Roll; this drives the nation crazy, so Bill and Graeme retaliate by becoming 60’s hippies. Tim’s response is to invite them onto his new show, Super Ficial’, where he proceeds to over-direct their rendition of ‘Sing a Song of Flowers’, demeaning them live on air. Then Tim goes really loony: he goes on to direct all television programmes – including his new production of World War II!
