Returning home late one night, architect David Vincent wearily pulls off the road for a rest - and witnesses the landing of a flying saucer. But when he later reports his sighting to both the police and his business partner, Alan Landers, they think him a crank. Vincent manages to persuade them to return with him to the site where he saw the U.F.O., only to find that the ship has disappeared, and in its place is a honeymooning couple, who tell them that they have been camping there all night and have seen nothing out of the ordinary. Frustrated, Vincent begins and investigation into the spacecraft and his search soon leads him to a deserted town. Here he encounters an apparent ally in Kathy Adams, the hotel-keeper. However, Vincent soon learns that the aliens are capable of taking on human form, and that no-one is exactly what they seem...
