Number 6

Having survived the battle of wills against Number 2, Number 6 is taken by the Supervisor and the Butler to meet Number 1. After walking down a tunnel containing jukeboxes that play ‘All You Need is Love’, they emerge into a huge cavern containing a jury of masked, robed figures, a missile silo, and a throne for Number 6. He has finally earned his right to be an individual, but before Number 6 can meet the man in charge, the President of the Assembly presents him with three forms of revolt: the first is youth, personified by the hippie Number 48. The second is the late Number 2, who has now been brought back to life. But who is Number 1? What is the fate of the Village? And will the ex-Number 6 like the answers he is finally given?
