In the American Wild West of the 1800s, a sheriff resigns from his job and rides out of town, only to be attacked by a posse of cowboys and dragged to the nearby town of Harmony. Here the corrupt Judge decrees that he become their new sheriff, but the cowboy refuses. However, Kathy, the barmaid of the saloon, soon falls in love with him, and in order to save her from the threats of the enigmatic gunslinger known as The Kid, the cowboy finds himself forced into taking up the badge and gun that go with the job. However, all is not what it seems - and how does it all fit in with Number 6 and the Village..?
