Robin of Sherwood Cast

When the Saxon village of Loxley is destroyed by Norman soldiers, Ailric, village leader Ailric and guardian of the silver arrow, manages to get his five-year-old son, Robin, to safety. As Ailric is put to death by the villainous Sheriff of Nottingham, he predicts that ‘the Hooded Man’ will one day come to fight tyranny… Fifteen years later, Robin and his foster brother, Much, are captured by Guy of Gisburne, Abbot Hugo's steward, for killing one of the King’s deer. They are imprisoned in a dungeon in Nottingham Castle, but manage to escape with the aid of fellow prisoner Will Scarlet. During the escape, Robin encounters and falls in love with the beautiful Lady Marion, who is destined to marry the evil Baron de Belleme. Hiding in Sherwood Forest, Robin is chosen by the mystical Herne the Hunter to become his son - ‘Robin in the Hood’. Determined to rescue Marion and end the Baron’s reign of terror, Robin recruit other outlaws to his cause: the jocular Friar Tuck, the gentle giant Little John, and the Saracen warrior Nazir. But are they enough to stop the dark powers of the Baron…?
