Ian and Randi

Ian has been murdered by his department head, Doctor Samantha Stevens, for foiling her plan to complete the undead-controlling artefact, the Staff of Gilgamesh. Randi has been drugged by her ex-fiancé, Charlie Beaudine, and is now on a plane bound for Los Angeles – just as the effects of the full moon take effect…

Randi awakes to find herself transforming into a werewolf in the middle of the plane; as she locks herself in the toilet her screams alarm the passengers and crew, forcing the captain to make a priority landing at L.A.X. airport. Completing her transformation, Randi evades an investigating security team and escapes into the night… Back in England, the Mathesons begin packing Ian’s possessions, only to be surprised by the arrival of Randi, who has returned to avenge her tutor’s death. Randi visits Ian’s gravestone to pay her respects and leave flowers – but when she leaves she fails to see a hand emerge from the ground… Back at the B&B, Randi is furious to learn that Charlie has followed her back to England; however, she soon succumbs to his charms, and the two of them are about to make up when Randi glimpses what seems to be Ian’s corpse standing outside the bedroom window. Returning to her room, Randi is astonished to discover that Ian has returned from the grave, and is now a rather confused and hungry zombie. Randi vows to find a way to cure her friend – all she needs to do is to find Doctor Stevens before Ian can eat anyone…
