Thunderbirds Are Go

The Zero-X rocket blasts off on a manned mission to explore the planet Mars. But shortly after lift-off the vessel is sabotaged by the criminal known as The Hood, and the crew barely manage to escape in the nose-cone before the rocket crashes into the sea. Two years later, the members of the investigative committee looking into the disaster finally conclude that the crash was due to sabotage, and so decide to call upon the services of International Rescue to oversee the security of the impending second launch. Despite another attempt by the Hood to disrupt the mission, the Zero-X successfully launches, and a few weeks later reaches its destination. But while exploring the surface of Mars, the crew encounter several vicious Martian rock-snakes which attack the exploriation vehicle. The crew are able to escape the deadly creatures and begin their journey home; but when the Zero X finally reaches Earth, there is a problem with the re-entry procedure, and the rocket begins to plummet at three-thousand feet-per-minute through the atmosphere on a collision course with the city of Craigsville. The crew are forced to call for assistance, and when International Rescue responds - Thunderbirds are go!
