Thunderbirds Are Go Cast

The Warden of Dunsley Fields, Robert Williams, is enjoying time off with his son Aiden, flying a remote-controlled model of Thunderbird 3, when they come across an illegal sonic injection platform, a drilling vehicle used by poachers to steal hydro-methane. Robert and Aiden climb into the platform’s cabin with the intention of deactivating the drill, but are unable to disable the automated control system; Robert uses the comm system to report the platform for his superiors, but is cut off when the ground opens underneath the vehicle, which falls into a massive sink-hole. John intercepts the call in Thunderbird 5, noting that it coincides with an earthquake; believing the warden to be trapped inside the injection platform, he contacts his brothers at Tracy Island. As Virgil and Gordon fly off in Thunderbird 2, taking Thunderbird 4 in Pod 4, John determines that the earthquake was actually a cave-in, and that sea water is now flooding the cave system beneath the fallen platform. Robert and Aiden are unable to open the hatch, which is now buried under rubble; Aiden helps splint his father’s broken leg, and then uses parts of his model to repair the radio, making contact with Virgil as he arrives overhead. Virgil drops Pod 4 in the sea so that Gordon can traverse the submerged tunnel system in Thunderbird 4 and rescue the warden and his son. Virgil then contacts Brains for advice on shutting down the drilling activator; Brains observes that the downed platform is solar powered, so they must move it to deactivate it. However, the vehicle is sitting on top of its highly-flammable gas tanks – a failed attempt to move it will vaporise the whole area…
