F.B.I Special Agent Dale Cooper and Sheriff Harry S. Truman

Agent Rosenfield discounts both Leo Johnson and Jacques Renault of being Laura’s killer. Cooper learns that his ex-partner, Windom Earle, has escaped from a mental asylum. Ben Horne faces a decision over the sawmill’s accounting ledgers. The Log Lady gives Major Briggs a message for Agent Cooper. Shelly Johnson visits her vegetative husband Leo in hospital. Donna Hayward meets the creepy Mrs. Tremond and her grandson. Ben gives the order for Leland Palmer’s death. Bobby Briggs attempts to persuade Shelly to make a claim on Leo's insurance policy. Deputy Andy Brennan believes that he is sterile.
