"And what would your name be?"

"Woodward and Bernstein didn't need a name."

"Are you trying to tell me you're a 'Deep Throat'?"

In their stronghold in the Nevada Desert, the Triumvirate are concerned that their young cannot survive the radiation that keeps the adults alive; with their foetuses dying as soon as they hatch, the aliens are faced with a decision: either wait nine years until their next birth cycle, or move the surviving eggs to a cold environment. Elsewhere, at the Korean Bathhouse in Washington D.C., sleazy reporter Cash McCullough meets with a mysterious hooded informant, and learns that illegal aliens are being killed by a top-secret team known as the Blackwood Project. Cash is unaware that his source is in fact Quinn, the renegade alien who wants revenge on Harrison and his team. At the Cottage, Norton is intrigued by the aliens’ latest transmissions, which appear to be like ‘baby talk’. Suzanne is surprised to receive a letter from her ex-husband, who asks to meet with her and Debbie after two years’ absence; Suzanne is immediately suspicious – particularly because her husband is none other than Cash McCullough… Meanwhile, the aliens take over an industrial ice house and place their eggs into frozen containers – in just seventy-two hours, hundreds of their embryos will be birthed…
