War of the Worlds Cast

With the Morthren situation now critical, their systems failing and their number reduced to a mere handful, Malzor disobeys the Eternal Spirit and consults ‘The Obelisk’, a device capable of showing the aliens’ past and foretelling their future. After choosing the latter, Malzor realises that for his people to survive he must take drastic action, by releasing deadly ‘Talejan spores’ that will eradicate all life on Earth, leaving the Morthren inheritors of a dead world. Learning of this insane plan, Ceeto fears for the safety of his friend, Debi; in desperation he steals the Obelisk and flees the aliens’ base. Furious at the boy’s betrayal, Malzor’s tenuous grip on sanity finally breaks, and he orders the immediate release of the lethal spores. Making contact with Debi, Ceeto shows her, Harrison and Suzanne the Obelisk, which allows them to see the events that led up to the Morthren’s war against humanity. Will the truth behind Malzor’s past actions provide the Blackwood Project the means of ending the war – or is all life on Earth doomed to imminent destruction…?
