The staff of the Whitewood Mental Health Care Center contact Harrison about one of their patients, Sylvia Van Buren. Sylvia fought alongside Harrison’s adoptive father, Clayton Forrester, in the war against the alien invaders back in 1953; since then, exposure to irradiated alien tissue samples has given her the gift of psychic insight – whilst also driving her insane. With Sylvia’s help, Harrison and his team track a group of alien warriors, following a trail that takes to Montana, and then into Canada. Harrison, Ironhorse, Norton and Suzanne eventually confront the aliens at the shore of a lake – just as the invaders begin the resuscitation of hundreds of their brethren, who lie sleeping in the depths below…
