'Revenge of the Evil Leaper' Story Code '68125' by Deborah Pratt

16th September 1987: leaping together, Sam and Alia find themselves in a women's correction facility in Ohio, in the bodies of Liz Tate and Angel Jensen, two prisoners accused of the murder of a fellow inmate. Concerned that Alia's evil observer, Zoey, will track her down, Sam hypnotises his fellow leaper, altering her brainwaves so that she takes on the personality of Angel. Meanwhile, Zoey has become a leaper too, and arrives in the body of Prison Warden Clifford Meyers. Watched by her own observer, Thames, Zoey meets with Liz and Angel, unaware of their true identities. Facing a death sentence, Sam protests Liz and Angel’s innocence, and asks for the chance to track down the real killer; Zoey reluctantly agrees, but then cruelly sends the claustrophobic Angel back into the dark, cramped confines of The Cooler. With time running out Sam begins questioning his fellow inmates – but then Al arrives with the news that history has inexplicably changed: not only is Liz destined to die, but now Angel does too…
